El Abarth sports coach is one of the brands that is part of Stellantis N.V.. (merger of Fiat Chrysler Automóbiles with the PSA Group). Its range is based on some Fiat models, although giving them a very sporty and racing touch. Its origin dates back to the preparations carried out by Karl Abarth on the models of the Italian firm Fiat. your current portfolio is only made up of only two models, but each of them has several special series and elements that make them unique vehicles.
El micro urban 595 (developed from the current generation of the Fiat 500) is in charge of opening the range, proposing two bodies (both with three doors), one closed and the other convertible with a canvas roof. The mechanical range of the Abarth 595 revolves around the same gasoline block with 1.4 liters of displacement turbocharged although with different power ranges. The reason lies in the different special versions that complete its range.
La access version of the Abarth 595 is the 595 with 145 hp and the Track with 160 hp. As we look for greater sporting sensations, we find the Turismo (165 hp) and Competizione (180 hp) that have better dynamic qualities. The Abarth 595 range is completed by the XSR Yamaha (165 hp) and Biposto (190 hp). In addition, from time to time the preparer usually puts new revisions and special versions on the market that improve the performance and sportsmanship of the small urban bus.
Closes the Abarth range on 124. This manual canvas roof cabriolet is based on the Fiat 124, which in turn shares a platform and assembly line with the Mazda MX-5. Its mechanical range is based on the same block 1.4 turbocharged of the Abarth 596, although its power is 170 hp. The 124 has two different versions, one called Spider and the other Spider Scorpione. The main difference between one and the other lies in its equipment and tuning of the chassis, suspension and sporty feel.
