El Audi S8 It is the most high-performance version of the saloon represented by the brand with the four rings, the Audi A8. Aesthetically it is very similar to the rest of the range, although it has a discreet sporty appearance, without shrillness. Under its hood is a 8-liter V4.0 TFSI engine that delivers an interesting number of 520CV of power. It is a figure not much higher than that of the A8 W12, which extracts 6.3CV from its 500-liter engine, although the approach of this majestic engine is very different from that of the V8.
Despite the fact that it marks almost 2.000 kilos on the scale, the supercharged mechanics catapult the Audi S8 up to 250 kilometers per hour (electronically self-limited) and for the stopwatch in the 0-100 in just 4,1 seconds. With all this, it homologates a moderate consumption average of 9,6 liters per 100 kilometers. Quattro all-wheel drive is standard, as is the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox.
