El H It is the sedan of segment D of the Japanese brand Honda. The latest generation was launched on the market in 2008 with four-door sedan and family or five-door Tourer bodies. Both have a cabin for five passengers, although the sedan has 460 liters of trunk compared to 448 of the Tourer, including the double bottom of the latter. In terms of capacity, the Accord's trunks don't stand out against the competition.
In its mechanical offer we find the engine of 2.0 i-VTEC petrol with 156 horsepower and 2.2-liter 150-horsepower i-DTEC diesel. Both are associated with a six-speed manual gearbox, although there are also automatic versions with a five-speed gearbox.
The various trim levels of the Accord offer items such as the navigator with camera, bi-xenon headlights with automatic low-high beams, electric and memory leather seats, sunroof, front and rear parking sensors or dual-zone climate control.
El Mazda 6, Volkswagen Passat y Toyota Avensis are some of the rivals of this sedan. As of 2015 it will no longer be marketed this model in Europe, which will be left without a successor due to low sales of sedans in general.
