KTM Sportmotorcycle AG is an Austrian motorcycle company, although they have also created some cars. It was founded in 1934 by Johan Trunkenpolz and Ernst Kronreif. Its initials come from Kraftfahrzeug Trunkenpolz Mattighofen.
