The Espace offers capacity for a maximum of seven passengers, although it is not capable of matching the terms of habitability of its predecessor. The second row of seats has a longitudinal adjustment that allows you to play with the space to give more or less space to cargo or passengers. The minimum cargo volume is 159 liters with all three rows of seats unfolded. With two rows, the Espace offers between 477 and 581 liters of capacity, being able to reach a maximum of 1.818 liters if we completely fold down the middle row.

Renault unveils the Espace internationally in spring 2023 as part of its European reorganization strategy. The French house, always known for its excellent diesel engines, replaces these with electrified mechanical sets. The new Renault Espace enjoys a mechanical offer that for now focuses exclusively on a hybrid version called E-Tech.

It consists of a 1,2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. It is associated with two electric motors. One capable of driving the front wheels and another that acts as a gearbox. They are powered by a 2 kWh lithium-ion battery that automatically recharges while driving.

Management is derived from an automatic transmission that sends all the power to the front axle. The set develops a maximum power of 200 horsepower with an approved consumption of between 4,6 and 4,8 liters per 100 kilometers traveled. Thanks to its hybrid mechanics, the General Directorate of Traffic gives it the advantageous ECO label, which means important advantages when driving around the city.
