In relation to the Cayenne that are located below, the GTS variant (acronym for Gran Turismo Sport) has various adjustments that give it an extra spicy signature.

Starting with what we see under the hood, the GTS continues with the 8-liter biturbo V4 which premiered with the debut of the current generation at the end of the last decade/beginning of the present. Of course, in case the previous 460 HP were few, now the horsepower is increased to 500. The torque also increases by 40 Nm to 660 and, to round out the mechanical revision, the eight-ratio Tiptronic S transmission becomes more direct and precise, especially in Sport and Sport+ modes.

With all this, the new GTS is capable of accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4,4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. In addition, the all-wheel drive transfer case is cooled by means of an independent water circuit. "This technology is inherited from the Turbo GT model and, thanks to it, the continuous load capacity is stabilized in very demanding conditions, such as when driving on a circuit or on mountain roads," the engineers indicate.

Along with the specific design details that are already typical in the GTS versions (larger air intakes, darkened optics, red brake calipers, 21-inch RS Spyder wheels, GT sports steering wheel, etc.), the model receives a very particular set-up.

What stands out, for example, is the height lowered by 10 mm compared to other range siblings, the adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus systems that are fitted as standard or the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control to stabilize the roll that can be fitted as an option. It also has an increase in the negative camber angle that significantly improves cornering. In short, despite its silhouette and weight (more than 2,2 tons), we are talking about a sports car in the purest Porsche style.
