El Ford BMAX It is the brand's B-segment minivan and also the smallest in its range. It measures 4,08 meters in length and is 13 centimeters longer than the Ford Fiesta from which it derives. The main peculiarity of this car is its door opening system. The rear ones are sliding but when we open them together with the front ones we will realize that there is no central pillar, giving a greater sense of spaciousness to the interior and facilitating access to the vehicle.

The interior has capacity for five passengers and its trunk has a volume of 318 liters. Among the different equipment that this B-MAX can equip we find the city ​​emergency braking, Sync multimedia system with emergency call and Bluetooth, blind spot detector, electric parking brake, keyless entry and start and parking camera.

As a small model that it is, the engines are consistent. The single diesel engine that we find in the range is the 1.6 TDCi 95 hp, although a 1.5-horsepower 75 was previously offered. The gasoline range is wider and makes its way with a 1.4 hp 90, which in the LPG version yields 86 hp. Above are the 1.0 EcoBoost of 100 and 125 horses and the 1.6 naturally aspirated gasoline, which is offered exclusively associated with the PowerShift dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The rivals of this peculiar urban minivan are the Citroën Picasso C3, Nissan Note y Opel Meriva, the latter also with a suicide rear doors.
