When Hyundai came to Europe many customers and rival brands looked down on her. Almost everyone, or a large part, believed that her cars were bad and unreliable. However, over the years the doubt has dissipated and even have outperformed the Volkswagen Group in areas such as electrification. However, the passage of time has also made a dent in its European range since today they no longer sell some of their classics...
The Hyundai Elantra is one of those models that has disappeared from its European range. But that it is not with us does not mean that it is not still active, since it is one of the most demanded sedans in markets such as the US. In fact, although the current generation has seen its sales fall, those responsible for the brand have decided to take the step and create a new delivery. And to illustrate what your design could look like, here are these renders...
Everything indicates that the renewed Hyundai Elantra will take the aesthetic path of the recent Staria…
The last news we had of the current Hyundai Elantra dates back to the launch of the sports version N. But time passes and they want to prevent their rivals from stepping on the ground they have won. Hence, they are already in the testing phase with the renewal of the seventh generation that debuted last year 2020. However, its official presentation will not take place until the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, so things could still change between now and then...
Therefore the renders published by Kolesa could change, for better or worse. On the front it stands out for showing off a combination of style that combines the line of the Staria with that of the recent Kona. Hence, it shows off a large grill crowned by a full-width LED bar. Below are the main optics (obscured at the bottom of the spotlight) flanking the grill at the ends like wings.
The side view of the renewed Hyundai Elantra does not seem to change excessively. There will be no shortage of wheels or a renewed color palette to give it a more sporty air. For its part, the rear seems to maintain the LED optics to which only the interior design would be changed. There will also be slight tweaks to the bumper to give it a more dynamic image. The rest of the elements, as well as the interior, are still a mystery to be resolved...
Regarding the mechanical range, there is little to add because Being a restyling, the most logical thing is that they maintain part of their range. This is not an obstacle for it to receive an update, but most likely it will not change while waiting for the electrification of its next generation. Therefore, we will have to wait for Hyundai to publish new material to find out if Kolesa is right or wrong... A pity that it is no longer sold in Europe...
Don't you think...?
