We knew that Kia was behind introducing a new large electric car in its range. Today he has made it official. Is called Let's EV9 and, when it reaches the market, which it will probably do in the last quarter of this 2023, it will be positioned as the top of the range of the South Korean brand.
It was presented about a year and a half ago in the form of a concept. What we could not imagine at that time is that its exterior design would be maintained with little change for the production model that has just been unveiled. As you see, It sports a clearly SUV aesthetic, but with a totally new identity.
In the Kia EV9 the edges and straight lines predominate
In the new Kia EV9 specially call their forms. They are very square and with marked edges., something that enhances your front and rear lighting style. Unfortunately, Kia has wanted to keep some important information about its technical section. We know that it is a big car, that It will be close to 5 meters in length and will be around 3 meters in battle, but we do not have the concrete data. Nor about the mechanical part of it. They have not communicated if will offer various batteries and different power levels, although it is to be hoped that this is the case.
How do you take the E-GMP platform from other models such as the Kia EV6 or the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6, we sense that at least the 77,4 kWh battery will be offered. Due to its size and its SUV condition, logic makes us think that it will be available with 4×4 versions, using a motor on each axis. and powers between 200 and 350 CV. In any case, these are all assumptions.
