The sedan segment is not going through its best moment. This is not something new since the SUV's have almost taken it ahead in favor of other proposals, let's say "more attractive". Of course, there are still manufacturers who give a vote in their favor as Mercedes-Benz and its latest delivery of the E-Class. But beyond the sedans there is a whole range of options that we can acquire without resorting to SUVs. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain is one.
As you well know, Mercedes-Benz is a heavyweight manufacturer in the premium segment. And not only that, because the house of the star also knows how to set trends in segments that have not even been invented. The country-style family is one of them and with the E-Class All-Terrain they have a great asset. Well, now that we know the latest installment of the E-Class we can imagine with these renders what the family and off road version will be like...

The line of the hypothetical Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain is very country…
It was a few weeks ago when we met the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. And although many criticized that the brand had risked little, we can confirm that the leap is giant compared to its predecessor. But beyond this controversy, many of us have had the question of knowing what the Estate family version will be like. In addition, there are still those who go further to imagine what the Estate family version will be like endowed with the All-Terrain country line.
That is why Nikita Chuiko has created this pair of renders for Kolesa. In them we can see how he has extrapolated the design of the sedan to this family body that still does not exist. All you have to do is look at which part of the front remains, although slightly modifies the bumper with an off road finish. The side view stands out for the family-type extended roof, although it seems to be closer to the false shooting brake style of the German house.
In addition, these renders show some Black plastic skirts and moldings that protect the underbody. And not only that, the handles to open the doors are hidden in the sheet metal, improving aerodynamics. In last place is the rear with a style similar to that seen in the saloon but with a camper style bumper and a more aggressive diffuser. However, the style seen in these renders could still change with subtle improvements...
But when could the familiar Estate and All-Terrain debut…?
As we have already commented, the sedan version of the new E-Class debuted a few weeks ago. For now in the German house they have not announced when they will show the world the E-Class All-Terrain. However, there are sources that give a date: the end of 2023. This data has the following reason: landing in the US as a 2024 model year. At the moment there is no information related to Europe although if the previous information is correct, it will not take long.
However, before the next Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain is official, the Estate should arrive. Even so, as both are the same model with the relevant changes, their debut could take place at the same event. We will be very attentive because between now and 2023 comes to an end, there could be many new things. In fact, several camouflaged units have already been seen carrying out test tests, so they are very, very close...
