Prepare the wallet: this is what the new Maserati GranTurismo 2023 is worth

At the end of 2022, the new generation of Maserati Gran Turismo. Like the model it replaces (which was on sale between 2007 and 2019), it is a sports coupe with two doors and four seats approved (2+2). However, now it has all-wheel drive and air suspension in all its versions. The marsh Italian has already published the official price of this car in Spain, at least that of the two configurations available with a combustion engine.

La access version of the GranTurismo, called Modena, costs a minimum of $202.900. It has installed a V6 gasoline engine, known as Nettuno, which yields 496 CV of maximum power. This, in combination with a automatic transmission by torque converter, allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,9 seconds and reach 302 km/h top speed.

For its part, the Trophy version, more radical and better endowed both aesthetically and technologically, it can now be purchased from $253.000. It has been equipped with the same engine, although thanks to a series of modifications on the mechanical components and on the electronics, it develops up to 557 CV. This improves his performance, with a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. These are not trivial figures for a car weighing 1,8 tons and of considerable size: almost five meters long and two meters wide.

Later, throughout 2023, the acquisition cost of a third version with a 100% electric propulsion system will also be announced.. It is called thunderbolt and, based on three engines (one on the front axle and two on the rear), it delivers 761 CV in the best case. Maserati says that it can go to 100 km/h from a standstill in 2,7 seconds and achieve the same speed as the GranTurismo Trofeo. The autonomy it has is not yet known, although its battery, with 92,5 kWh of gross capacity, could put it at about 500 km per full charge.

Despite being a fairly large amount of money, almost all alternatives to the Maserati GranTurismo 2023 by level of quality and performance are more expensive, even those manufactured and marketed by less exclusive firms. For example, a BMW M8 Coupe Competition (625 CV) is already worth 215.150 euros to start talking. For something more exclusive like a Bentley Continental GT Coupe (550 CV) are requested from 227.500 euros.
