El Chevrolet Orlando It is the first minivan that the American brand markets in Europe. It is a model with capacity for seven passengers that stands out for its high competitiveness against most rivals in the segment. Its rates are very attractive, but if we want a model with a very complete equipment, we will find some limitations in this Chevrolet Orlando.
We have tested this car:
Chevrolet OrlandoIn the Spanish market, three engines are offered for this minivan of 4,65 meters in length. The access to the range is a 1.8CV four-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine, while the diesel engines, more interesting for this body, offer powers of 141 and 130CV extracted from the same 163 engine.
In Spain it is marketed in the finishes LT, LT+ and LTZ. The most basic trim level already includes a complete security package, parking sensors, a multimedia system with a 7″ screen and a multifunction steering wheel, among other elements. The LT finish adds the parking camera, the climate control, the alloy wheels and a greater number of speakers. The LTZ, as top of the range equipment includes larger tires, navigator, parking assistant, blind spot detector, rain sensor and lights and other elements.
Some rivals of the Chevrolet Orlando are the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, Ford Grand C Max or Mazda 5. Like these rivals, Orlando's problem is that with the seven seats the trunk is very small, cubing only 89 liters, instead of the 458 liters that you enjoy when we only enable the seats in the first and second row.
