The birth and commercialization of Alfa Romeo Giulia has meant a little revolution in the automotive sector world. For years the Italian firm did not have a rival at the height of the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class and with the Giulia it has managed to hit them where it hurts the most. It is true that certain details could have been polished a little more but overall It is a vehicle that enters through the eyesa impeccable dynamic behavior and with a quality of realization and equipment that has little to envy to the models of the three «Marías».
However, where Alfa Romeo still suffers is in variety of bodies available for Giulia. The only silhouette they have available is the sedan and if they really want to eat a good part of the cake they must offer the customer more alternatives. For now the one that sounds the most is the Station Wagon version or familiar, but others could well arrive that would rejoice our eyes and our souls.
As can be read by the gossip of the network of networks, Alfa Romeo would be preparing a coupé version of his Giulia. If they were right, it could be officially unveiled at the next Geneva Motor Show (something that I personally see as very hasty) to start marketing shortly after. Nevertheless, this coupé silhouette would not be the only novelty that the Giulia would present since it would have a nomenclature with a common part and a differentiated part.
In this case, the Giulia Coupé would be known as Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint. In this way the name Sprint would go from being a commercial name to being the name of the model by right, as it did in the past. If this version were presented in Geneva would be more than likely to arrive accompanied by Ferrari V6 engine with 510 hp of power that already gives life to the Quadrifoglio Verde version of the sedan.
If these rumors were true Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is proving that its commitment to relaunch Alfa Romeo is strong and determined. Hopefully it will be so and we will have an Alfa Romeo rear-wheel drive coupe on the market again.
