Aspark Owl: The supercar from 0 to 100 km/h in 2 seconds

Aspark Owl Frankfurt

The Japanese super creation, officially presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it will reach 100 km/h from a standstill in less than two seconds. These figures would be spectacular if they were not somewhat overshadowed by the great design shown by the Japanese manufacturer.

With a typical silhouette of a Pagani, the supercar born in 2014 and presented this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it will be powered by electric motors, although it is not yet confirmed that it will be produced.

In a video released by the manufacturer itself, we can see how the Aspark Owl's mule shows great acceleration thanks, we suppose, to its four motors located in the wheels and to its great power.

Despite this, in the video you can also see some loss of grip on acceleration, which would reveal that it was a very early version of the project.

Made entirely of carbon fiber, its design is clearly that of a supercar. It also has a tubular chassis and magnesium wheels. On the other hand, its height does not exceed one meter. This will keep your center of gravity as low as possible to improve your performance.

The Japanese supercar stands out, above all, for an exotic design, never seen before. I don't mean in terms of dimensions, since as I mentioned before, they are typical of a supercar of these characteristics, but their shapes are unusual.

in its front we found some lighthouses that leave no one indifferent, either you like them or you hate them. In the lower part we will see two large air intakes that will serve to cool the electrical system, and on the sides, smaller ones to do the same with the brakes.

The side highlights your silhouette. A low to the ground vehicle always draws attention, and this Aspark Owl is one of them. Despite being called an owl -owl in English-, the Japanese vehicle has gull-wing opening doors.

coming up behind, we find a huge spoiler and a large diffuser, which will generate enough force to keep the Aspark Owl well on the ground. Finally, its rear lights cover practically the entire width of the vehicle, providing a modern look.

A somewhat sparse interior

Aspark Owl Frankfurt

Despite having an interior typical of a luxury supercar, the truth is that it looks somewhat rudimentary, looking more like a car from the early 90s than from the end of 2017. On the other hand, the manufacturer has chosen not to incorporate mirrors, with which the driver will have to orient himself through screens located on both sides. We have certain doubts about the resolution and whether it will be a good solution in practice.
