The Audi Q2 receives new mechanical possibilities. Welcome 1.0TFSI

Test Audi Q2

In mid-November we attended the presentation of the new Audi Q2, the nice urban crossover of the German firm. On that occasion we had a contact with the 116 and 190 hp TDI engines. The least powerful was, until now, the variant of access to the model. Now the Audi Q2 incorporates the 1.0 TFSI three-cylinder engine with 116 hp, passing this version to be the access to the range. But it is not the only mechanical novelty.

The German brand completes the diesel offer by introducing a 2.0 TDI version of 150 hp associated with the S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. This configuration therefore becomes the most economical Q variant using Audi's famous four-wheel drive system. With these two new additions, the Audi Q2 is now available in eight configurations different mechanics.

At gasoline section we find the 1.0 TFSI of 116 hp and the 1.4 of 150 hp with the cylinder disconnection system. Both can be associated with a six-speed manual transmission or the seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
