Various foreign sources claim that the top-of-the-range version in terms of performance of the Audi A3, Audi RS 3will experience an increase in power. Having already reached the figure of 400 CV in a compact model, it is difficult to expect a great increase in power. Anyway, another 20 horses is not bad at all.
Media like Auto Express o Auto Bild assume that the compact end of Audi will develop 420 hp. What is practically certain is that under the front hood we will continue to see a great engine in danger of extinction.
We refer to the block 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder with turbo; the same used by the outgoing generation, as well as the Audi TT RS y RS Q3. It is a very interesting mechanic, with a peculiar roar and with a way of delivery that asks to take it high in turns. Without a doubt, a very striking engine.
Of course the Audi RS 3 will bring changes to your design. It will be a sportier reinterpretation of the A3 of Audi, which already has a dynamic body and bulging hips. Specific bumpers will not be missing anymore aggressive, black accents, larger air intakes and spoilers, as well as two large oval exhaust outlets.
You'd expect it to have lower ground clearance thanks to more prominent heel cups, but also a lowered suspension. Similarly, they will increase the width of the roads, reducing the center of gravity of this next Audi RS 3.
What will not be missing is the quattro drive system. Quattro it is already a seal of identity in the signing of the four rings, and even more so in the RS range. Of course, it is possible that there are improvements with respect to the previous systems, being able to add greater torque control that reaches the rear wheels, thus improving performance when cornering.
