With everything BMW Group has presented earnings, before taxes, higher than the 10 one billion euros (10.665 million) thanks to a profitability per unit sold that is between 8 and 10 percent (one of the highest in the sector). In any case, the Bavarian consortium has managed to end the year not only with black numbers, but also reserves in its hat a liquidity of 14,5 billion euros. Part of this money will be used, as specified by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Harald Krüger, for the development of up to 20 new models, or revised, and the increase in the range of models of the electric family «i».

As stated Kruger

«Our future is definitely electric» […] «With our electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid models, we are already the clear number one in Europe»

"We are using scalable modular kits for electrification. Starting in 2020, we will be able to fit all model series with any type of transmission.”

The first wave of electric products in the BMW Group will arrive in 2019 with the arrival of the first mini electric and in 2020 with him all the way iX3. Be that as it may, we are not surprised that the numbers of the Bavarian group are so good, as they are great strategists and know very well the terrain they tread.
