But the main novelty is the arrival of a new and sporty BMW i3s. It is a good opportunity to try to give a new impetus to the sales of this nice and effective urban model, since it has been on the market for several years. For starters, the performance of the electric motor in the BMW i3s improves on that of the regular i3 with a power of 184 hp and a torque of 270 Nm. But everything does not stay there. The BMW i3s receives a specific tuning, a lower height and 40 mm more in the track width. It also incorporates 20-inch wheels and a sports driving mode.
All the performance of the “normal” BMW i3 are a 0 to 100 km/h in 7,3 seconds and a top speed of 150 km/h. The BMW i3s It improves them slightly, taking 6,9 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill and reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. The differences in these two data are not very high, but the reduction in height and the greater width of its tracks should noticeably improve adherence to the floor. Its approved autonomy is barely 20 kilometers less, that is, 280 km.
