Citroën will take advantage of the International Motor Show in Madrid to show, in world premiere, the Largo version of the New Berlingo Van. For the first time in Spain, the brand will also exhibit The New C5 Tourer and the Nemo Combi. Next to them will be the most recent Citroën launches, the C4 Sedan, the New C5 Saloon, the Nemo Furgón and the Combi and Furgón sedans. The rest of the models in the brand's range will not miss the Madrid event, from May 22 to June 1.
The New C5 is a vehicle that exudes elegance on all four sides. It has been said by the specialized press, which has not spared praise to define this model. Thus, among other things, they have highlighted its modernity, distinction, dynamism, refinement and quality. They have also said that what sets it apart is its smoothness and comfort, that it drives with minimal effort, that it pampers its passengers and that it is very stable and safe. To all this contribute, among other things, the dThe suspensions, Hidractiva III + and metallic, among which it offers the possibility of choosing and technologies such as the involuntary lane change alert, the side parking space meter, the halogen projectors with additional lighting or the self-directing bi-xenon headlights. Its high level of safety is specified in the 5 Euro NCAP stars that the saloon already has in adult protection.
The New C5 engine range is made up of three petrol engines (1.8 hp 16i 127V, 2.0 hp 16i 143V and 3.0 hp 6i V215) and four diesel engines (HDi 110 FAP, HDi 138 FAP, HDi 173 FAP and V6 HDi 208 FAP).
If the New C5 is the latest from Citroën in the medium-high segment of the market, the C4 Sedan is the brand's latest in the medium segment, the most successful in Spain. The three-body version of the C4, from 4,78 meters long and 1,77 wide, it shares with it technologies that benefit both comfort and safety. It incorporates, for example, a steering wheel with fixed central controls, self-directing bi-xenon headlights and, as standard in the entire range, ABS with electronic brake distribution, emergency braking assistance, regulator and voluntary speed limiter and driver's airbags and front passenger, front and curtain sides. All this with the possibility of choosing between two engines, one gasoline, the 1.6i 16 V with 110 horsepower and a diesel, the HDi 110.
As far as commercial vehicles are concerned, the newest Citroën vehicles that can be seen at the Madrid Motor Show are the Nemo and the New Berlingo, both in Combi and Van versions. The New Berlingo Furgón will be especially protagonist, showing, for the first time in the world, its long version.
The New Berlingo has the comfort, equipment and performance of passenger cars ¿?? and the robustness, load capacity, practicality and use of space of commercial vehicles. The van version expands its cargo volume up to 3,3 m3, or even up to 3,7 m3 in its long version. Thanks to this capacity, you can load two Euro pallets, one at the front and the other at the rear, widthwise. According to versions, its payload can be 625 Kg, 750 Kg ó 800 Kg. Some other advantages of this model are its equipment, which makes it a real mobile office, or its comfort, incorporating the suspension of the C4 Picasso and with a driving position inspired by 4×4, in which the driver has easy access at all controls.
The New Berlingo offers the possibility to choose between various engines. The diesels are the 1.6 HDi 75, the 1.6 HDi 90 and the new HDi 110 FAP; the petrol ones, the 1.6i 16V with 90 hp and the 1.6i 16V with 110 hp.
For its part, the Nemo is an entry-level commercial vehicle capable of coping with ease both in the city and on intercity trips. The van offers a useful volume of 2,5 m3, a payload of 610 Kg in all its versions and a passenger seat, Extenso®, with multiple configurations, which allows the increase of the useful volume to 2,8 m3 and from the load length to almost 2,5 m. The Nemo Furgón stands out for its economy, since it has engines that offer low consumption and emissions (4,5 l/100 km and 119 g of CO2 per km in the HDi version).
A demonstrator of the C4 Hybride HDi can also be tested at the Madrid Motor Show, in which it is possible to check all the functions of the vehicle and its results in terms of consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, in the AIRDREAM area you will find all the brand's models that have this ecological label, which identifies the cleanest models in the range.
