Slight improvements in safety and comfort for the SsangYong Tivoli and XLV

Last week we got to know the upgraded SsangYong Korando. The Asian brand took advantage of the day to introduce us to the new SASS security system that is offered standard on Limited trims of Tivoli and XLV models, as well as a series of variations in the equipment of these two models that share practically everything with each other.

These two models are having a good behavior in the market. You may think that there are not so many Tivoli or XLVs on the street, but SsangYong's goal is not to sell thousands of units monthly. The fact is that, as we said, the objectives of SsangYong with these two cars are being fulfilled. we already tried them a few months ago in its diesel versions (Test SsangYong Tivoli y Test SsangYong XLV), but now we discover the slight adaptations of its equipment.

All SsangYong Tivoli MY17, have the equipment they have, they bring with them reclining rear seats up to 32,5 degrees, central armrest in the rear seats with cup holders, easier access Isofix anchors, an improved front windshield and support for the rear seat belts.

At Premium finish The SsangYong Tivoli introduces the infotainment system with an 8-inch screen and rear view camera, in addition to the possibility of equipping it with a navigator.

Meanwhile, limited finish (the highest) incorporates new 18-inch two-tone wheels in silver and black colors and depth adjustment of the steering wheel. Meanwhile, the heated seats and steering wheel are deleted. To all this we must add the SASS security system that we have already mentioned.

Ssang Yong XLV

All the SsangYong XLV MY17 news are the improved front windshield and the better identification display for the Isofix anchors. The Limited trim level adds depth adjustment to the steering column while, as in the Tivoli, it removes the heated seats and steering wheel. It also provides greater security with the SASS system.
