Time flies, and proof of this is that Cupra was born four years ago. In this period, the brand has been able to position itself very well in the European market, and proof of this is the sales volume. To give us an idea, Cupra tripled its sales in 2021 compared to 2020, with almost 80.000 units registered.
Its first model was the Ateca, a sports version with 300 hp of the model marketed by Seat. The Formentor and the León have thermal engines and plug-in hybrids, the Ateca only with the 300 hp petrol version and the Born is a fully electric car built on the MEB platform specifically for electric vehicles.
