The arrival of the Type to the Fiat product catalog has meant the return of the Italian firm to the European compact segment. The Stilo and Bravo failed to succeed but it seems that the new iteration of the Fiat Type he is doing his homework more than correctly. So that everything continues as before, as a good mother who takes care of her children, Fiat Chrysler Automóbiles (FCA) has decided to put up for sale in Spain a version powered by Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) on the 4-door body of the Type.
The range of the Italian compact is made up of two bodies, one of five and this one of four doors. However, the brand has decided to launch the gasoline-LPG version on this one by the greater capacity of the trunk. This is due to the fact that the tank that is used to store the LPG subtracts a little space in the cargo compartment, although it should not be an excessive figure since the firm has not mentioned anything in this regard.
The chosen mechanic to give life to this new version is the well-known 1.4 T-Jet Bifuel which has been suitably updated so that it can use both fuels. This block is capable of producing a maximum power of 120 hp or with a 215 Nm torque. With this potential, the Type covers 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 10,1 seconds and its maximum speed has been encrypted at 200 kilometers per hour.
Its consumption and autonomy are more than good, which is why it is on the market. When the LPG Type is working with gasoline is able to score mixed consumption of 6,3 liters at 100 kilometers. In case it is driven by GLP consumption rises to 8,4 liters per 100 kilometers. The CO2 emissions they emit into the atmosphere are 146 grams per kilometer for the first and 136 grams for the second.
The trim levels of the Type 4 LPG doors are the Easy and Lounge. From the most basic, the compact already has air conditioning, electric windows, trip computer, central locking with remote control, touch screen sound system, USB and Bluetooth. If we access the most complete Lounge, it will incorporate air conditioning, light and rain sensor, cruise control, electrochromic interior mirror, 17 inch alloy wheels.
