The Ford Focus is one of the most successful models of the Blue Oval. Since the first generation saw the light, back in 1998, the successes have only followed one another. Until they reached this latest iteration, the most mature and complete of all. However, the passage of time and the updating of its rivals have made a dent in its sales volume. Above all, in those regions where compacts have a greater market share.
To solve the problem, those responsible for the Focus have gone to work to apply a subtle restyling. With this they seek to update those details that have aged the worst and that their competitors have surpassed. We have been seeing the work to fine-tune this mid-cycle rejuvenation for some time in the form of spy photos. So using them as a base, several designers have created renders like the ones we bring.

One of those who has already presented his work is Kolesa. Through the hand of designer Nikita Chuiko we can see how the main lines of the updated Ford Focus could evolve. To shape the images in front of you, they have reviewed all the spy photos that are available on the net. In any case, we hope that the deepest change of the Yankee hatchback will fall on the optics, bumpers, colors and new alloy wheels.
So with this premise in hand, we can see some more aggressive and marked front optics. Now they add Full LED technology in all functions and daylight is simpler. On the bumper, the grille softens its shapes and could move away from the Aston Martin style seen in recent years. We also have some bumper corner moldings that gives it a sportier touch and even integrates anti-fog optics.
If we go behind, we will see that Kolesa has chosen to shape this render to the sedan body. In much of the European market it is not available, such as in Spain. In any case, it is enough to take a look to realize that the changes affect the same areas as in the front. that is, the optics with LED technology and a bumper with fresher lines. There is also a black plastic diffuser and a double exhaust outlet.
With everything, we do not know when we will see the updated Ford Focus. The way the project is going, it shouldn't take long to present it to society. We will have to be very aware, because the interest aroused by the Focus in markets such as Europe is high. Another thing is in the United States, where it could have a second chance after the announcement to withdraw the reviled and unsuccessful EcoSport from sale.
