Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition: 370 horses for the latest special version

We know the care with which Ford treats its sports compact, the Focus RS. If they recently presented an exclusive version of 500 units with which they dyed their hatchback red -called Red Edition-, now they do it with an orange tone. This version, called the Heritage Edition, will be limited to just 50 units.

This series, which unfortunately will be limited to the UK, incorporates not only a different exterior design, with the spoiler in a different tone from the bodywork, and that unique orange color in the American model, but it will also introduce improvements to the engine that will increase its power. 

This increase in power is due to some new adjustments prepared by Mountune, an independent company dedicated especially to Ford models, and which, in addition to engine preparations, has its own products to increase the power of the American range.

Thanks to Mountune's FPM375 upgrade, which replaces some stock parts with tuner parts, the Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition will be capable of increasing its power from 350 horsepower to 370, with an improvement also in torque, which will go from 470 Nm to 510 Nm. In addition, the Focus RS Heritage Edition features a Quaife manufacturer's mechanical limited-slip differential on the front axle.

The Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition also serves as commemoration of the 50th anniversary of a model that was legendary for the American firm, and that the Focus replaced, the Ford Escort. What we do not understand exactly is why to use this striking color and that, personally, little accompanies the Focus RS.

Be that as it may, it will be very difficult to see a copy of this exclusive version in our country, partly because there will only be 50 units and because it is unique to the United Kingdom, a country where the Focus has a great depth.
