So that the next iteration of the American compact SUV can be manufactured in Spain, Ford has decided to make an investment at the Almussafes plant in more than 750 million euros. With this amount, the total sum of investments of the brand in the Spanish plant amounts to around 3.000 million euros since 2011. With this new investment, more than 8.000 workers will be employed throughout the entire production chain in the region. The main points towards which it will be directed will be to strengthen and improve productivity and efficiency.
