This weekend we not only have a race of Formula 1 with the Italian Grand Prix, in Monza. He also returns Motorcycle World Championship, where Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP riders will fight for victory. In addition, the teams and drivers of the world championship will play for the points within our borders, in the Gran Premio de Aragón.
This GP is held in the attractive Motorland circuit, in Alcañiz. It is a track that, although it does not have many years of history, has been able to make riders and spectators fall in love. To this must be added that the Aragonese track is particularly good for Spanish drivers, where Marc Márquez has won 5 times and Lorenzo 2.
Going into a bit more detail, Motorland has a total length of 5.077 meters, whose longest straight is 968 meters. In this layout the pilots will find ten left-hand curves and seven right-hand ones, especially highlighting the area of the Aragonese corkscrew, curves 8 and 9, which are reminiscent of Laguna Seca.
In terms of data, the maximum speed recorded is 351km/h, through Bagniana in 2020 on his Pramac Racing Ducati. Meanwhile, the fastest lap in the race is in Morbidelli's possession also in 2020, with a 1 time: 48,089, although very far from the absolute record of the track that Marc Márquez achieved in 2015 to achieve pole, no less than 1:46,635.
