Hawkers Riders Academy, new motorcycling school for children from 3 years

Hawkers Riders Academy

Spanish motorcycling is experiencing a beautiful period for its successes worldwide. In 1999 Álex Crivillé won the first title of the premier class for a Spanish rider, something unusual and that many we thought we would never see again never again. Young riders were appearing in the lower categories winning the 125 and 250 cc titles, later reaching MotoGP.

After the struggles of Sete Gibernau with Valentino Rossi, the Catalan could not take home any title, although he did have a good number of victories. In the last years we have seen how the MotoGP title was conquered by Spanish riders, being Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez our idols. In this season the very young Maverick Vinales, which is also going to give a lot of trouble and has options to take the title at the end of the season.

Be that as it may, the point is that the speed motorcycling is very well represented. In lower categories we have riders like Alex Rins, Jorge Navarro, Julito Simón, Alex Marquez, María Herrera, Joan Mir or Aron Canet. All of them make the youngest fight for one day being at his level and fighting side by side for world championships and victories in the different Grand Prix.

But for all this it is very important quarry and the promotion cups. The sunglass company Hawkers has launched its own motorcycling school for boys and girls from 3 years of age. Is named Hawkers Riders Academy and has the help of its ambassador Alex Rins. Located in Elche, this school will support many children in pursuit of their dream.

“The fact that there are initiatives such as the Hawkers Academy or the Hawkers Cup are important for motorcycling since betting on grassroots sport is the best way to achieve high-level pilots in the future”, assures Alex Rins. "Spain is a benchmark in pilot training and this is already being reflected in the high level demonstrated by the pilots who are trained in our championships and this initiative that Hawkers has launched ensures the future of our pilots", added Rins.

The company itself tells us that one of the main objectives of this Hawkers Riders Academy school is encourage in pilots camaraderie, teamwork, passion, fun and the values of sports such as effort, self-control, sacrifice, intelligence and discipline.

It is great news for sport in general and for young people in particular that companies form categories for an unacceptable sport financially like this. With these lower categories, it is possible for young talents, in addition to learning all the values of sport, to have a greater impact and facilities when some "scout" assesses their skills.
