Lexus RX 450h 2016, prices and equipment for Spain

Lexus has already started marketing one of its star models, its hybrid crossover, the Lexus RX450h 2016, which is in the fourth generation of the model. The Japanese brand already accepts orders for this model that we already know prices and equipment for Spain, although the first deliveries of the model in our country are scheduled for January or February 2016.

With the launch of this model, and pending the arrival of the new Lexus LS, the Japanese have already completely renewed their range, with a series of models that adopt more angular and modern shapes. The new generation of the Lexus RX measures Meters long 4.89, 12 centimeters more than before in order to mark the differences with the Lexus NX, which is 26 centimeters shorter. It is also 1cm wider and just as tall as the current model.

Inside, important improvements can also be seen, especially with regard to materials and finishes. The previous Lexus RX 450h used a lot of hard plastics (albeit with good adjustments) and in recent times the model years were noticeable. With this new generation, new technologies and, above all, more standard equipment also come to the range.

In the new passenger compartment, passengers are also positioned slightly lower and enjoy more space. The trunk goes from 496 to 540 liters and continues to have a double bottom.

313 horsepower hybrid drive

But the mechanical section is, without a doubt, one of the greatest evolutions of the Lexus RX 450h. At the moment in Spain it will only be marketed with this hybrid variant, which combines a motor 3.5 V6 gasoline and two electric motors. One of these electric motors is located on the front axle and the other on the rear, thus achieving an all-wheel drive system. Combined, a power of 313 CV, compared to 299 of the previous generation.

The most surprising thing is that the 450 Lexus RX 2016h homologates a average consumption between 5,2 and 5,5 liters according to versions. The simplest finish is exempt from Registration Tax, while the rest pay 4,75%. In terms of performance, it offers an interesting 0-100 of 7,7 seconds.

The Lexus RX 450h 2016 structures its range in the finishes ECO, Corporate (aimed at companies), Executive, Executive Tecno, F Sport and Luxury. All the finishes are very complete and from the most basic you already have practically everything you need in a car the size of the Lexus RX 450h.
