The first time we could see Maserati GranTurismo Folgore artwork it was a few weeks ago. To be more exact, when the house of the trident published the economic results for the 2021 financial year. Also, to our surprise, we learned that they had abandoned the red numbers to recover the black ones. Well, a few days ago we went back to see the east sports car with almost no camouflage at a Formula E event.
And it will not be the last since the Italian house has just published a couple of new photos. In this case it is Carlos Tavares who is at the controls and the most interesting thing is that he does it rolling on roads open to public traffic. With them they give the starting signal to complete the thousands of kilometers that lie ahead in the validation tests. And not only that, they take the opportunity to remind us that they are the first Italian brand to reach Formula E.
Ultimately we have the first official image of the Maserati Grecale Folgore. Carlos Tavares himself and Davide Grasso, head of the Italian house, pose for the occasion. As you can see there is a White Grecale that shows off the brand logo finished in electric blue on the hood and doors. It is the same one that we already know from the GranTurismo Folgore, but that in the white tone of this unit becomes even more evident.
At first glance, it does not seem that many things have changed in its design compared to the thermal Grecale. However there is some eye-catching detail and grill, bumper or faired alloy wheels.
