The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is one of the most important E-segment sedans. Its life history, as we know it, dates back to 1993. Of course, if we are strict we must talk about the year 1974, which is when the W123 came to light and hit the market. Be that as it may, in all these years it has managed to capture the attention of customers who were looking for a luxurious, comfortable and high-quality model. And the latest generation has not failed in any respect.
It was born in 2016 and to stay fresh it received a major restyling in 2020. However, as time passes and Mercedes-Benz gives it a well-deserved relief, they have decided apply a new restyling. His debut is coming soon, but while it's happening, and no, here we have some renders that want to give us clues of what their design will be like. And if we are fair we must say that the change is very positive since it is closer to its older brother...

The person in charge of shaping these renders is the Kolesa team. For this, they have taken as a basis the photos that spy photographers have been collecting in the past months and weeks. Not surprisingly, the photographed units "defended" themselves with a thick layer of camouflage, making their creation more complicated. However, you don't have to be a lynx to realize that the aesthetic future of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is associated with the Lessons.
Hence, the front of the renewed E-Class goes through brand new more restrained front grille and more torn Full LED optics. For its part, the bumper is simpler and, depending on the version chosen, it will use a more elegant or sporty style. The rear, for its part, also opens optics that are more stylized and torn so the result is more elegant and fine. Finally, bumper design looks cleaner and minimalist.
So far we do not have official images of the interior, although it is already known "where the shots will go." That is, the E-Class will be added to the S-Class styling with larger screens and better resolution. The technical part will remain faithful to the precepts that we already know, that is, that the electrification will be extended throughout the range with versions that in gasoline and diesel they will be micro-hybrids and there will also be a plug-in hybrid.
This electrification will also reach the AMG versions. The reason is very simple: Mercedes-Benz will remove the V8 block in favor of a V6 associated with an electrical system. In this way they will be able to reduce emissions and consumption without the level of power and performance being diminished. All in all, it seems likely that the renewed E-Class will arrive at the end of this year or 2023, so we will continue to pay attention to the news that arrives from Stuttgart.
