Gentlemen, ladies, good people, the MINI Cooper SE is now available in Spain. From the moment of its introduction, the BMW Group realized its potential, because the image of its chic utilitarian is irresistible. Therefore, before the showrooms are filled with the first units, they did not hesitate to open the official order book. Thus, for a few weeks, as my colleague Diego Ávila told you, it was possible to reserve.
For this, it was enough to make a pre-reservation of 1.200 euros and choose, online, the unit we wanted. At that time, the brand announced the starting fee but not its finishes. However, it has not been until now that we have more data in this regard. The reason is simple: the web configurator has been activated these days. Now is when we know what equipment makes up its offer and most importantly, the full range of prices.
The starting fee for the MINI Cooper SE has already been announced
As we knew, the electrical mechanics of the MINI Cooper SE will only be available with the three-door body. In this version, we will not see the traditional brand finishes, because they have opted for new ones. Now it is structured in four steps, being called, by volume of equipment: S, M, L y XL. True, they have not broken their heads much, but it suggests the position that this version has in the range of the English utility.
The S-termination, the equipment of the Cooper SE is correct. Thus, with respect to its endothermic brothers, it launches a new 5,5-inch digital instrument cluster. To this, it adds intelligent speed control, infotainment system with integrated navigation and touch screen or LED headlights. The ending M adds rear view camera, specific upholstery or heated front seats among others.
If we go to level L, the endowment is on par with other premium models. Thus, the headlights include Full LED technology, the Head-up Display appears and a wireless charger for smartphones or a premium Harman Kardon HiFi sound system. Finally, the most equipped version, called XL, boasts elements such as panoramic sunroof or seats upholstered in leather.
At the time that MINI announced the starting price of the Cooper SE, it confirmed the arrival of various gifts. The first was a Wallbox MINI “basic” as well as certified technical advice on the installation of the charging point. The second, a "conventional" model until the delivery of the purchased unit. For now, we do not know if they will keep both gifts, but until the normalization of their deliveries, they could be available.

However, the official prices for the new MINI Cooper SE are already available in Spain. For now, we do not know if it will have discounts or promotions, although due to its positioning it is likely not. Even so, there is still no need to lose hope, because their rivals are hitting very hard and the commercial network could be forced.
