Those in charge of this study comment that the priority for the friends of others they are the best-selling and veteran cars. They are looking for these high-volume cars, among other things, because the demand for spare parts for repairs, either due to accidents or breakdowns, is very high.
The best sellers and veterans are the most likely.
In addition, they report six out of ten robberies are carried out by models between 11 and 25 years old; or what is the same, those most likely to need replacements. They “take” 60% of the thefts. Meanwhile, cars less than five years old only account for 18% of thefts.
However, it highlights that the higher chances of theft other vehicles have them if we compare this data with the presence of the model in question on the market. And it is normal that cars like the Seat Ibiza, the León or the Golf are very stolen, since they are also among the best sellers.
