What model is Mark Webber hiding from us behind this sheet?

Mark Webber releases a teaser of a new Porsche

Former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber, currently closely linked to Porsche, leaves us a interesting teaser on a new model of the German firm. Webber appears in a room full of Porsche models in Zuffenhausen and shows us a vehicle covered with a sheet. It seems, at first, that Webber is determined to lift the savanna completely, but in the end he only shows us one small portion of its frontal.

As we say, the new vehicle is completely covered. The sheet is attached to the Porsche model that we will soon know. The video does not cover all four sides of the new model, but it seems that does not have a prominent spoiler rear as used by other cars of the firm such as, for example, the 911 GT3 RS. It is just a detail, because it does not incorporate a large spoiler does not mean that it cannot be a very high-performance model.

Mark Webber timidly lifts the front left corner. This small portion allows us to see a tone of paint for the bodywork of dark green. We can also see a thin lower lip on the front that seems to be finished in carbon fiber and some generous air intakes to channel flow to the brakes and engine cooling system. In any case, it is still very difficult to know, due to the few visible details, if we are facing a variant of the Porsche 718 Cayman or if we are really facing a new version of the 911.

We will have to wait for Porsche to finally decide to officially present this new product, but the wait won't be too long. The Australian driver comments in his short video that this new "baby" will be released in the next few days. We opted for the idea of a new version based on the Porsche 911, although it would not be surprising if the German brand was about to launch a new edition for the Cayman. What do you think?
