Porsche surprises with the 911 GT3

Porsche has unveiled the long-awaited 911 GT3 in the newly opened Geneva Motor Show, where the German brand has put the long teeth to all its fans with the new version of GT3.

A marvel of automotive engineering that boasts a four-litre Boxter engine and that offers its driver 500 CV of power under the right foot.

Features to highlight

a new sports car

The German sports car reaches a maximum speed of 318 km / h with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3,4 seconds.

Thanks to comprehensive changes made in its steering system, aerodynamics and its lighter design, weighing just 1.430 kg, the Porsche team manages to effectively increase the improvement in its performance.

The new 911 is equipped as standard with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), but after the success of the 911 R and the Porsche Cayman GT4, the German firm has decided to offer buyers of the new Porsche 911 GT3 a six-speed manual gearbox, which although the response from 0 to 100 km/h slightly decreases, reaches a top speed of 320 km/h.

Not only are the improvements to the redesigned rear axle steered chassis notable, but the 911 GT3 has dynamic supports and a rear differential lock, as well as a new rear diffuser and a spectacular spoiler made of carbon fiber, as are the only two seats that the German sports car has, which eliminates the two small rear seats as usual in the GT3.

Inside the new GT3 we find the newly designed steering wheel and a center console with digital display where Porsche installs its information and entertainment system that, in addition to offering the usual connectivity systems, includes the Track Accuracy App. This App sends the registered telemetry data that it has previously recorded to our Smartphone.

The new Porsche model, presented in the Swiss city, wants to offer the driver the best of both worlds, a unique driving experience on the road and great efficiency on the track. A spectacular vehicle that is now available for reservation at dealerships, although the first deliveries will wait until May, at a price of just over 175.000 Euros.
