Well, it seems that their plans are going ahead and a new model would prove it. Yes, because if you do a bit of memory you will remember that not long ago they published a series of sketches to advance your steps. One of those had as its protagonist the X200, an all-rounder with a powerful and rugged design that has returned to the public front line. The reason? A "spy" photo has been leaked that reveals the final model of your project.

If it hadn't been for the guys from Auto Post Korea, we wouldn't have had access to this graphic material. And the truth is that we are facing a very powerful all-terrain vehicle that maintains a large part of the features that the X200 or KR-10 that we knew in sketch form already had. Especially those concerning the front embodied in its optics and the design of the grill. Nor can we ignore the format of the bumper, the powerful hood or the front window.
However, it seems that this snapshot has been taken in the research center that SsangYong has. This would be possible because Torres is next to him and already, in the background, several Tivoli units. Hence, the rumors have been put to "work" to indicate that we could be facing the model that replaces the current Korando. And they are not lacking in reason, since another sketch in which he appears alongside the first Korando points in this direction.
For the time being SsangYong has not commented on the matter, but we think it won't bother them much. The reason for not getting "nerved" is simple: they need to create "hype" to prevent customers from thinking they are sunk. If everyone believes that their situation is resolved (and it seems to be), customers will trust them and continue buying their cars. So we will be very attentive, because the new Korando could mark a turning point for them.
