Despite the success, the Tesla Model 3 will be delayed for three more months

Therefore, they have had to rethink the assembly line system again, delaying the manufacture of these units until the first quarter of next year. In addition, to this situation they have had to add that the deliveries of the Model S and Model X have increased by 18 percent, so the space in the production chain looks even tighter.

The main point of the assembly line that ballasts the manufacture of the Tesla Model 3 is the one dedicated to battery mount. This fact has been justified by the firm, since they allege that since it is a new model, during the first months of its production it is normal for delays to occur in the factory. However, who has not forgiven this problem is the stock exchange, as the American brand has seen its titles lose 5 percent of their value.

As of September 30, 2017 Tesla had one net operating loss of $619,4 million. This data clashes with the net profit of 21,9 million dollars that the brand had in the same quarter of 2016. The balance sheets of the brand show that this bulky gap has occurred due to the debt that they have had to contract to launch the Model 3 into production.

Finally, everything will not be bad news for Tesla, since it has confirmed that during the third quarter of this year has sold the unit 250 thousand. This means that its production has increased 100 times compared to 2012.
