Comes from Test Seat Ibiza ST
Once we have reviewed the car in terms of habitability and drivingLet's see what it offers and for how much money.
Consumption
El 1.4-liter engine and 85 hp has a moderate expense, being able to be very low if the accelerator is pampered.
In the city the expense is around 8 liters / 100km although driving at the tip of the gas in 5th gear along the ring road I have come to measure 5,1 liters on average.
En motorway at legal speed consumed about 6 litres/100 km, without great joys but without being aware of consumption.
On a two-way highway, with many slopes and lively pace consumed 8,4 liters / 100 km.
Consumption can be very low if we set our minds to it…and we are patient
Back home, I covered the last 30 km with an excellent average of 5 litres/100 km. For this I worked thoroughly in the economical driving, without exceeding 100 km/h at any time and traveling the ring road at 60 km/h in 5th gear (travel of 10 km, the limit is 50 km/h). By this I mean that the engine can have low consumption, if we insist on it. Also keep in mind that I circulated alone without luggage, charged will spend more.
Equipment
El Ibiza ST It has the same equipment levels as the rest of the range ("Reference", "Style" and "Sport"). All of them come with ESP + hill holder + emergency brake booster, daytime running lights, tire pressure sensor, etc.
Importantly, the Ibiza ST cannot carry (at least for now) the much-needed curtain airbags. I don't know the reason, I guess it will be something intrinsic to the production and Seat will quickly start mounting them.
The version that concerns us, Style finishIt also offers a leather steering wheel with radio hands, CD-Mp3 radio with radio, tinted windows, climate control, electric and heated mirrors, etc. Can include many options, such as Sport leather upholstery, rain sensor, lights and parking, heated seats, navigation pre-installation, USB and Bluetooth connection, glass roof, etc.

As we said, a new car like the one in this test costs €15.600 euros. Specifically this unitSEAT Ibiza ST 1.4 16V 85 CV Reference) costs €13.500 at the dealer Hill Seat de Palencia, and includes metallic paint and optional 16″ wheels.
Regarding the competition, it has a good relationship between what it offers and what it costs.
Botton line
It is a good choice for young couples who do not want to give up a dynamic aesthetic with more space than a conventional utility vehicle. The front seats are very good, and the trunk is spacious. The rear seats are somewhat smaller than normal but it is not a problem. Children or teenagers will travel perfectly, with plenty of holes to leave objects.
El equipment is exactly what is necessary and little more, without "pijadas" that would make the car more expensive. I just miss the curtain airbags.
The engine tested here is somewhat "fair", but sufficient if it is used mainly in the city or on the highway. If it is going to be used a lot on two-way roads and with loads, purchasing it with a more powerful engine should be considered.
Finally, the Seat Ibiza ST price It is very tight for what it offers, in addition to being a well valued car when it comes to selling it second hand.
