We have to return the keys to the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moab that has been with us this week, and the truth is that we are very sorry. We have really enjoyed this car that you have several defects, but also many virtues. It is a car that we should look at especially if we are going to use it offroad or in the field. If we are urbanites, I don't think it's our car.

The Wrangler range has two bodies, the three-door and the five-door Unlimited. From our point of view, the short one is more useful in the field and more beautiful, but the Unlimited is infinitely more practical in daily use (five doors, plus a five-seater trunk instead of four), on the other hand, making the goat for the mount its longest battle will harm us. Even so, the Unlimited seems more suitable to us.

In Spain a single engine is offered diesel 2.8 CRD 200CV, which can be associated with a manual or automatic change. We opted for the automatic because it is more comfortable during the day, when doing off-road and because the engine has more torque than the manuals (50Nm more). It spends more and is more expensive to purchase, but I don't think that's a problem when buying a Wrangler. Also, the manual gear lever is no treat, it's for real machos, as it's hard and it dances.

the wrangler it does not stand out for being a refined or luxurious car. It is a pure off-roader with which to humiliate all owners of 4×2 SUVs or even some good off-roaders. If desired, it is also a field work vehicle, where having a robust and capable vehicle is essential.

Normally the Jeep Wrangler is offered in three finishes: Sport, Sahara and Rubicon, although it is common for there to be a special edition like this Moab (already sold out) or the next Polar. These special editions are the most interesting, because they have the exclusivity of limited runs and greater equipment and are not much more expensive. If we are to do the bear for the mountain, the Rubicon is ours without a doubt.
