Vinfast Pininfarina

Until recently we thought that the only vehicle manufacturer with a Vietnamese passport was Proton. However, from their land a new firm has emerged that wants to conquer the sales lists offering products of careful design and elegant, quality reasonable, generalist technology and knockdown price. We spoke to you about this firm a few months ago, and it is neither more nor less than VinFast.

At the time we told you the information we had, since they had only announced that their models would be designed by the design studio Pininfarina and that they were working in various market segments. But time has passed and as is logical, once they have the selected projects they want to make the international leap to show what they are capable of.

Vinfast Pininfarina

As reported VinFast, will be present at the next Paris International Motor Show which will take place next October. They will take two unpublished models to the gala event that when they reach the market they will initially do so in their native country. The first of them will be a five seater saloon and the second one all the way with space for up to seven occupants.

In addition to your design, VinFast it would have counted on the collaboration of renowned companies in the automobile sector for the technical development of its models. Among the partners they are working with are Siemens, Bosch, Magna Steyr or the very BMW Group. Thanks to their collaboration, they announce in the brand that their products will meet the highest safety and quality standards, reaffirming the solidity of their project.

While VinFast obtains the necessary capital so that its conceptual models pass to the assembly lineThey will work side by side with General Motors. With the American consortium they would have signed a collaboration agreement for the distribution of some of their products in the Asian country. The firm they would have chosen to develop this agreement would be Chevrolet, which has seen its deliveries decrease after the agreements that its parent company had with Isuzu and Suzuki were broken.

El Paris Salon It's just around the corner but VinFast announces that its forecasts for the year 2025 is the manufacture of 500 thousand units of its models. In any case, they hope to start their offensive with a production of 100 units per year. Will they be able to fulfill their plans, or will we be facing another firm that wants to and can't? Time will tell.
