The Volkswagen Arteon one step away from being unveiled in Geneva

Volkswagen Arteon

The Volkswagen Group continues with its plan to improve its image commercial. Within this plan is the change (almost completely) of its range of models and among them there is one that we particularly like. The Volkswagen Arteon (we don't know if his final name will be this) proposes a large coupe saloon with a set-up with sports overtones.

The previous Volkswagen Passat CC (or CC to dry) failed to meet the expectations of the most passionate of the brand and the brand now hopes to achieve it with the Arteon. Its bodywork will continue to have lines similar to those of the CC (only in concept, not in real form) and will also continue to maintain its five-door body.

In this case, we bring you the second image that has leaked on the model. The reason for its discovery is that Volkswagen has communicated that its presentation will be official at the next Geneva Motor Show. Specifically, the brand has summoned us to next March 19 at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to see live how this new model is discovered.

Volkswagen Arteon

On a technical level We don't know many details yet, but yes we know that its base is the same as that of the current Volkswagen Passat. This already makes us understand that it will be a great router and that it will have good dynamic capabilities. We will have the rest of the technical details when the firm unveils the model in Geneva and tells us more about it.

If we go to aesthetic plane we have to say that the Arteon has a front where the headlights meet the front grill. This makes them look like a single block (visually) and therefore their design looks more imposing. Its side will bear a high resemblance to its predecessor, however its lines will be more marked and dynamic.

On an internal level we do not know how it will be the model. The only thing that the brand has commented on is that it will be very spacious and that it will have more legroom than the previous model. In addition, and following in the footsteps of its brand brothers, will have a high arsenal of driving assistants as well as various infotainment systems to amuse passengers.

For more information, March 7 at 19:XNUMX p.m. We'll see you in Geneva.
