Volkswagen ID Crozz: electric, 500 km of autonomy, 306 hp and 4 × 4

Volkswagen ID Crozz Concept

El Shanghai Hall is the place chosen by Volkswagen to present its new concept car of the ID family. The new model responds to the name of Volkswagen ID Crozz. Using the same platform as the two prototypes ID Concept and ID BUZZ, this new addition shows a aesthetics more typical of all paths, unlike the two previous ones that mounted saloon and minivan bodywork. However, it is also 100% electric and very futuristic.

Coupe SUVs are in fashion and the "people's car" guys don't want to be left behind, not even in concepts. As we see in the images, your Exterior design is clearly that of a SUV coupe of the future. Not long ago, talking about electric cars was intuited as not very versatile vehicles due to their reduced autonomy and ungenerous features that would limit their skills on fast roads; which is already totally changing.

Volkswagen ID Crozz Concept

the future is electric and the Volkswagen ID Crozz shows that the "zero emissions" are capable of both offering a forceful response and escaping from the city. This prototype uses of the thrusters electrical. One is located on the front axle and the other on the rear axle, therefore offering four-wheel drive. The total power obtained is 306 CVwhile its maximum speed is 180 km/h. Meanwhile, the charging system is capable of recharging its 80 kWh lithium-ion batteries to 83% in just 30 minutes. With 100% batteries you can travel up to 500km.

The Volkswagen ID Crozz also displays a complete set of driving aids, in addition to a fully autonomous ID Pilot driving mode. It will be the electronics, thanks to multiple cameras, radars and sensors, who will guide the vehicle by itself without requiring the intervention of the driver. In this case, steering wheel retracts leaving more space for the occupants. Taking a look at the interior photos, in case the exterior had left us a little perplexed, we see that this prototype It looks like something out of a fictional movie.

Prices ? I get that it won't be cheap at all (and I'm not telling you how something electronic breaks, I'll have to sell grandma's jewelry to fix it hehehe)...

For the "poor little guys" these cars are not (yet) viable.

We have 10 years left to put up with the gasoline car we have with scrap parts until we can pay for an electric car of this type (plus the moving of the plug in the private garage, whoever has it, of course).
