El Lancia Ypsilon It is a small B-segment utility from the Italian brand. Its body is exclusively five-door and measures 3,86 meters in length. It is approved for four passengers, although optionally can have five seats. Its trunk has 245 liters of capacity.
The premium positioning of the Ypsilon is evident with some of the equipment items in the range. It may have climate control, panoramic roof, parking assistant or bi-xenon headlights, especially the lighting system being something very unusual in its category.
The only engine available in the range is the new micro hybrid 1.0 70cv Firefly Hybrid. It offers 70 hp of power and is associated with a 5-speed manual transmission. To reduce consumption and CO2 emissions, it has a 12-volt BSG system associated with an electric motor and a small lithium battery to store the charge.
Some models with which the Lancia Ypsilon are Nissan Micra or Toyota Yaris. Currently the only country in Europe where it is available is Italy. With the creation of Stellantis Lancia's positioning has changed. It will be treated as a premium firm and new models are expected to arrive in its range.
