Thanks to the birth of Stellantis, the miracle of synergies has been achieved and she will be one of the beneficiaries. Especially now that electric mobility allows to shape models with more packaging. However, the plans of the Italian firm are not clear...

We have known for some time that they are working on three new vehicles. One of them is the successor of the mythical Ypsilon, but it was not until a few days ago that we learned that there would also be a new Delta. This would be the mysterious compact that had not yet received the green light to complete its development. Last will come a C-SUV of which there is not much data yet. But what if the new Ypsilon changed its approach? Would you like it…?

Industrial design graduate David Obendorfer has surprised us with this creation. These are the renders of the Lancia Beta Montecarlo from 75 in SUV format. True, associating the Ypsilon with the Montecarlo does not make much sense, but with the change in trends in the sector, who knows. As we have mentioned, we know that the urban will have a relay, but not what will be the aesthetic path that the firm's designers decide to take.

If we look at the sales statistics, we can see that the urban ones have fallen behind their SUV brothers. Hence the possibility that the Ypsilon could mutate is as real as that Stellantis will put money on the table. Although these renders allow us to play and dream, we could not rule out another possibility either. What if it was the C-SUV they're planning? True, these renders are not official but the doubt always remains.

Be that as it may, these images put a bit of salt and pepper to the Lancia we know today. In addition, it allows fans of the brand to dream or prepare for what may come.
