discontinued models

par excellence Ferrari (belongs to Fiat Chrysler Automóbiles – FCA) is one of the firms with greatest tradition in the manufacture of super sports cars. The Italian house, based in Maranello, has a spectacular range of models whose common denominator is design, technology and sportsmanship.

The model that opens the Ferrari catalog is the California T. It is a convertible coupe with a hard top and a 3.9-liter turbocharged gasoline engine in a V8 configuration. Its power is 560 hp, that is, 70 more than the previous atmospheric version. With it, you can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,6 seconds and reach 316 km/h. At a technological level has elements such as carbon-ceramic brakes or elements of the Ferrari F12 Berlinette.

The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso and GTC4 Lusso T is the most versatile and capable of the brand. The reason is in its four seats (the rear ones are not only suitable for children) and a larger trunk. Its mechanical range revolves around two versions, one atmospheric in V12 configuration and 6.2 liters of displacement and another that uses the turbocharged block with 3.9 liters and V8 configuration. The first yields 690 hp and the second 610 hp. One of the technological elements that differentiate it is the steering rear axle, because they make it a very reactive and dynamic car.

Going up one step we have the Ferrari 488 GTB and 488 Spider. To make this model, the engineers of the Italian house have taken the best knowledge of Formula 1. Its aerodynamic coefficient is 1,67 cx to which must be added a V8 engine with 3.9 liters that delivers 670 hp at 8.000 rpm and offers a maximum torque of 760 Nm. With this block for the chrono in the 0 to 200 kilometers per hour in only 8,3 seconds. Its interior has the best materials and a sporty design that places the main controls of the car at the driver's fingertips.

The latest addition to the range of Ferrari is Superfast. This model is the most powerful street Ferrari ever made by the brand. Count with one new fuel block in configuration V12 with 6.5 liters of displacement what yields a power of 800 hp at 8.500 rpm. Among the technological elements that define it is the EPS (Electric Power Steering) as well as a new platform in which the engine is placed in a central position and sends power to the rear axle. Its design and radical approach place it one step above the Ferrari F12tdf as its aerodynamic system and onboard technology reveal.

Finally, we have the Ferrari LaFerrari and LaFerrari Aperta. Only 499 units of this vehicle will be manufactured (between both variants) and it is the firm's most radical and special model for using the latest Formula 1 technology. Its figures are dizzying as is its V12 engine (in central position) 6,3 liters and 800 hp. Next to him is a Hy-Kers system, with which the LaFerrari reaches a maximum power of 963 hp and 900 Nm of torque. With this potential, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 3 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of over 350 kilometers per hour.

In addition, the Italian firm also takes advantage of historic sporting events to launch special versions of his models, such as Ferrari F12tdf. This model is a limited edition of only 799 units and recalls the Tour de France. The reason is the quadruple victory that the brand achieved between 1950 and 1960. On a mechanical level, it mounts the V12 block with 6.2 liters cylinder capacity and one increased power up to 780 hp. With this engine for the clock in 0 to 200 kilometers per hour in 7,9 seconds and marks a power per liter of displacement of 125 hp.
